- Physiology of digestion: mechanical and chemical digestion in mouth, stomach, and small intestine
- Absorption mechanisms: carbohydrate, protein, fat, water, vitamins, and mineral absorption
- Pathophysiology of GI disorders: peptic ulcer, GERD, inflammatory bowel disease, malabsorption syndromes

Endocrine System12 Hours- Overview of endocrine glands: pituitary, thyroid, parathyroid, adrenal, pancreas, gonads
- Hormone classification, mechanism of action, and feedback regulation
- Pathophysiology of diabetes mellitus (Type I and II), hypothyroidism, hyperthyroidism, Cushing's syndrome

Nervous System12 Hours- Organisation of nervous system; neuron structure and functions; resting and action potentials; synaptic transmission
- Central nervous system: brain regions (cerebrum, cerebellum, brainstem), spinal cord, meninges, CSF
- Neurotransmitters and their roles; pathophysiology of Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, epilepsy

Renal System12 Hours- Anatomy of kidney: macroscopic and microscopic structure; nephron — structure and types
- Urine formation: glomerular filtration (GFR), tubular reabsorption, tubular secretion; concentration and dilution of urine
- Renal regulation of blood pressure (RAAS), acid-base balance, and electrolyte homeostasis
- Pathophysiology of acute and chronic renal failure, nephrotic syndrome, urinary tract infections

Reproductive System and Selected Pathophysiology12 Hours- Male and female reproductive anatomy; hormonal regulation of reproduction; spermatogenesis and oogenesis
- Menstrual cycle: follicular phase, ovulation, luteal phase; role of FSH, LH, oestrogen, progesterone
- Pathophysiology of PCOS, endometriosis, benign prostatic hyperplasia, and reproductive infections
