  • Geriatric pharmacotherapy: age-related PK/PD changes; polypharmacy assessment; Beers criteria; START/STOPP criteria; fall risk medications; dose adjustment in elderly
  • Drug therapy in pregnancy and lactation: teratogen classification; risk-benefit assessment; drugs safe in pregnancy; breastfeeding safety (LactMed, Hale's Lactation Risk Categories)

  • Heart failure: pathophysiology; ACE inhibitors/ARBs, beta-blockers, aldosterone antagonists, diuretics, sacubitril/valsartan (ARNI) — evidence-based pharmacotherapy; pharmacist monitoring parameters
