  • Structure-Activity Relationship (SAR): electronic effects, steric effects, lipophilicity; bioisosterism; prodrug design; soft drugs
  • Drug metabolism and bioavailability: metabolic soft spots; prodrug strategies to improve bioavailability; ADMET properties in drug design

Analgesics, NSAIDs, and Cardiovascular Drugs9 Hours
  • Analgesics: opioid analgesics — morphine, codeine, pethidine, methadone — structural features, SAR, mechanism
  • NSAIDs: salicylates (aspirin, diflunisal), para-aminophenol derivatives (paracetamol), pyrazolone derivatives, propionic acid derivatives (ibuprofen, naproxen), oxicam derivatives (piroxicam), COX-2 inhibitors (celecoxib) — SAR
  • Cardiovascular drugs: antihypertensives (ACE inhibitors, ARBs, calcium channel blockers, beta-blockers), antiarrhythmics, antithrombotics — structural features and SAR
